This Privacy Policy explains how Botych ("the Service", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our tool to publish video content to your own TikTok account.
When you authorize Botych to connect to your TikTok account through TikTok's official OAuth login, we access:
We never receive or store your TikTok password. Authentication is handled entirely by TikTok.
When you use Botych, you upload video files and write captions that you choose to publish. These are transmitted to TikTok on your behalf and are not used for any other purpose.
We use the authorized access solely to publish video content to your connected TikTok account at your direction, and to display your connected account status in the interface. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
Authorization tokens are stored in a private database on our server, accessible only to the Service for the purpose of performing publishing actions you request. Video files you upload are stored temporarily for the duration needed to complete publishing (or, for scheduled posts, until the scheduled time), and are deleted immediately afterward. We implement reasonable technical measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information from unauthorized access.
We retain your TikTok authorization data only as long as your account remains connected to the Service. You can revoke this access at any time — either by clicking "Log out" within Botych, or directly from your TikTok account settings under connected apps, at which point we stop being able to act on your account.
Botych is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
